Toddler Discovery Program

It is time to register for the fall 2009 Mitchell College Children’s Learning Center Toddler Discovery Program! Please register today. The program is designed to meet the needs of toddlers and their parents/guardians or significant caregivers, focusing on early socialization and development. The sessions will include art activities, music, story time, block building and sensory exploration. Studies show that quality early learning experiences improve a child’s ability to enhance developing skills.

Children between the ages of 15 months and 2 years 11 months as of January 1, 2010 are invited to register for the program. Two sessions are available on Tuesday mornings from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM and from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The fall session will run from September 8th through December 15th (15 weeks). Enrollment will be limited to 8 toddlers per group. Preference will be given to families already enrolled in our program. In the event of insufficient enrollment, we may need to combine classes.

The fee for the programs is $150.00. It may be paid in full upon registration or paid in two installments of $75 each. A sibling fee of $40.00 is applicable if the sibling is walking and partaking in activities. Fees for the program cover materials for sessions, an optimal learning environment, and an educator to plan and lead the discovery times.
